I’m Christina Jayne, I live in England in the beautiful Lake District national park. I love to explore the mountain fells and lakes. A place where I often find inspiration to put into my creations.

I have been creative my whole life, but recently I started to share my art on social media.

…People started to love seeing my creations & wanted to see more! After suffering with long term depression & having been out of work, this really encouraged me... and now, it is an absolute dream come true to be a professional folklore and fantasy artist!

I create art using traditional mediums such as oil, acrylic and water colour paints, inks and pens. Some of my earlier pieces of art have been inspired by nature and animals. I have used photographs of birds, animals and nature as reference in my art. Within my artistic journey I first started practicing the challenge of creating realism with the paints...

I then went on to using my artistic skills in my historical inspired paintings. I used photographs of reenactors as reference to create the effects of reflections in armour…
