Rising on a thunderous wave!… I have long wanted to paint a Viking ship… A lot of my imagination went into creating the powerful movement of the clouds and sea. The oil paints were a great medium to use to create the flow of the black storm… To then finally capture the dark, powerful and epic story this painting suggests.
